An artist uses many colors to tell a story on the canvas. When that one dimensional fabric becomes a scene with depth and color, at once the story is no longer only his to tell... but the viewers as well.

Women's History Month: "Zora Neale Hurston's Hometown Legacy" - Video

Eatonville was a place where Zora Neale Hurston(an anthropologist, activitist, novelist, poet and filmmaker- 1891-1960) wrote about in her historic writings and visited during the Harlem Renaissance. It was the first town in America incorporated by twenty-seven black men 10 years after reconstruction in the 1887.
